On January 13, 2024, the customer submitted their Pixel 7 Pro for repair at F1 Pixel Service Center, the authorized service partner in Bangalore. A week later, on January 19, they received communication from F1 Noida, India, stating that their phone couldn’t be repaired and needed a full unit replacement, which would cost a staggering 81,000 Rs (approximately $975.42 USD).

Shocked by the exorbitant price, the customer chose not to proceed with the repair. On January 22, they were informed that their device was being sent back by F1 Noida. However, when they visited F1 Bangalore on February 3, almost a month later, they were told that the device was still in F1 Noida’s possession. Despite repeated attempts to retrieve their device, the customer has been unsuccessful, and the service center seems to have no knowledge of the current status of their device.
