OnePlus V Fold emerges in new renders

After much anticipation, OnePlus is gearing up to launch its highly awaited foldable phone, the OnePlus V Fold, in August this year. Thanks to @OnLeaks, we now have a glimpse of the device through a set of CAD-based renders.

Contrary to previous speculations, the OnePlus V Fold is not a rebadged Oppo Find N2. Instead, it boasts a larger form factor, aligning more closely with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and vivo X Fold2.

In terms of design, the OnePlus V Fold exhibits sleek metal sides and a tall cover screen featuring a punch-hole design. The back panel showcases a distinctive leather-like finish, housing a prominent camera ring with three sensors and Hasselblad branding. Rumors suggest that the device will sport a powerful 50MP main camera (IMX 890), complemented by an unspecified ultrawide module and a periscope lens.

Moving on to the display, while exact dimensions are not mentioned in the renders, sources indicate that the main screen will feature an LTPO AMOLED panel with a resolution in the range of 1900 x 2100px and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

Additionally, the right-hand side of the device integrates a fingerprint scanner within the power button, while three speakers provide an immersive audio experience—one positioned at the bottom alongside the USB-C port and two more at the top.

Under the hood, the OnePlus V Fold is expected to debut with the powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chipset, ensuring exceptional performance. The device will also house a robust 4,800 mAh battery, capable of supporting up to 100W wired charging.
