Samsung has established a new standard for what Android software updates can entail. The Korean OEM has been spreading the One UI 4.1 love across all sectors, from top-of-the-line flagships to budget-friendly options.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 received the One UI 4.1 update earlier this week. Two more Galaxy phones are now part of the club. In some areas, Samsung has begun seeding the stable Android 12 upgrade with One UI 4.1 to the Galaxy A32 5G and Galaxy A71 4G.
The One UI 4.1 update for the Galaxy A32 5G is currently rolling out to users in Thailand in the form of software version A326BXXU4BVC8. The new build is meant for the SM-A326B variant of the phone and it comes with the March 2022 Android security patches. The Galaxy Jump (model number SM-A326K), i.e. the Korean variant of the same device has also received the Android 12 update with One UI 4.1 through software version A326KKSU3BVC7.
So yet, only the Galaxy A32's 5G edition has received the Android 12 upgrade, but it'll only be a matter of time before LTE devices receive it as well. Samsung is expected to roll out the update in other areas in the coming weeks, though no official announcement has been made.
A few weeks ago, the Galaxy A71 4G (model number SM-A715F) received the Android 12 upgrade with One UI 4.0. However, the service was only available in Hong Kong. Samsung has now begun rolling out the stable Android 12 build with One UI 4.1 for the phone all around the world. The update is presently available in Russia, Poland, and Panama with the version number A715FXXU8CVC3.
Keep a watch out for the OTA notification if you possess a Galaxy A32 5G or Galaxy A71 4G. It may take several days for the One UI 4.1 update to reach everyone, as it generally does with staged software rollouts, so don't be concerned if you don't see any update prompts on your device. Power users can also manually download the updated release from Samsung's update server and install it on their Galaxy smartphone.
