iQOO, a sub-brand of vivo, is set to make its entry into the tablet market with the launch of its first tablet on May 23. The company has confirmed that the tablet will feature a 12.1-inch screen and will be powered by a Dimensity 9000+ SoC, providing users with a powerful and immersive experience.
Recent leaks and live photos have further confirmed that the iQOO Pad shares an identical design and OriginOS 3 platform with the vivo Pad2, indicating that it might be a variant of the same device with a different chipset.
In terms of specifications, the iQOO Pad is expected to come with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage, offering ample space for storing files, apps, and multimedia content. While there is no microSD slot for memory expansion, the generous internal storage should be sufficient for most users’ needs.
The tablet is also rumored to feature a large 10,000 mAh battery, supporting 44W wired charging for fast and convenient power replenishment. Additionally, the iQOO Pad is expected to support 5W reverse wired charging, allowing users to charge other compatible devices on the go.
On the camera front, the tablet is said to sport a 13 MP rear camera for capturing moments and an 8 MP front-facing camera for video calls and selfies.
These camera capabilities are expected to deliver satisfactory image and video quality for various multimedia needs.
While pricing details for the iQOO Pad have not been officially announced, it is speculated that the tablet might aim to offer a more affordable option compared to the vivo Pad2, potentially appealing to a wider range of consumers.
With its powerful performance, immersive display, and other notable features, the iQOO Pad is poised to make a splash in the tablet market and provide users with a compelling alternative in their digital experiences.
