The Centre for Incubation and Business Acceleration (CIBA), in collaboration with the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, the Goa State Council of Science and Technology, and GCCI Women’s Wing, is proud to announce the Women Entrepreneurship Development Program (WEDP) commencing from June 22, 2023.
Designed to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among women, the three-week program will be conducted online, allowing participants from various locations to access the valuable resources and knowledge shared. Upon completion of the program with 100% attendance, participants will receive a certificate recognizing their active participation.
The primary objective of the Women Entrepreneurship Development Program is to empower women by equipping them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources required to succeed in their entrepreneurial journeys. The program aims to provide a supportive platform where women can develop their entrepreneurial skills, explore business opportunities, and gain confidence in their abilities.
Organized by CIBA, GCCI, GSCST, and the Department of Science & Technology, the program will offer online training sessions for aspiring women entrepreneurs. It will cover a wide range of topics including entrepreneurship and its importance, soft skill development in communication and leadership, market survey techniques, marketing management, legal compliance, digital marketing, HR management, and more.
Furthermore, the Women Entrepreneurship Development Program aims to create an environment conducive to networking and collaboration. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, mentors, and industry experts, enabling them to build valuable professional networks and seek guidance from experienced professionals.
The program also emphasizes providing participants with access to resources, tools, and guidance necessary to transform their ideas into successful ventures. By sharing insights into working capital management, fund management, and government schemes for businesses, the program aims to equip women entrepreneurs with the knowledge required to navigate financial aspects and leverage available resources effectively.
