Tamkeen and Falak Consulting introduce a program to supercharge Bahraini startups
Eligible projects must present a viable idea or service for the local or regional market and be based in Bahrain with an active commercial registration.
Tamkeen, in its ongoing commitment to fostering entrepreneurship in Bahrain, has teamed up with Falak Consulting to introduce ScaleUp!, an innovative program designed to equip emerging Bahraini enterprises with essential business development skills. The collaboration with Strategy Sims aims to enhance the capabilities of startups in Bahrain by providing them with strategic guidance and immersive training simulations.
Over the course of three days, participants in the ScaleUp! program will embark on an immersive journey mirroring the startup development process. From conceptualization to exit strategies, participants will tackle real-world challenges such as crafting business strategies, navigating competition, securing investment, managing liquidity crises, and exploring exit strategies. The program will cover crucial topics including financing structures, business models, investor presentations, equity calculations, and long-term capital planning.
Ms. Maha Abdulhameed Mofeez, Tamkeen‘s Chief Executive, emphasized the organization’s commitment to nurturing Bahrain’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. She highlighted the importance of providing entrepreneurs with the necessary skills to succeed, thereby fostering private sector growth and driving economic development.
Open to Bahraini startups, registration for the program is open from April 4th to April 21st, 2024. Eligible projects must present a viable idea or service for the local or regional market and be based in Bahrain with an active commercial registration. Angel investors, accelerator programs, venture capitalists, and ecosystem developers are also encouraged to participate.
