Nothing continues to reveal details about its upcoming CMF line of devices in a piecemeal fashion. Today, the focus is on the CMF Phone 1’s camera system.
The phone will boast a 50-megapixel rear camera with a Sony sensor and an f/1.8 lens. Nothing claims this setup is designed to capture “naturally beautiful images” and utilizes advanced algorithms, including Ultra XDR, to enhance photos and ensure they appear bright and immersive in various lighting conditions. While details are still emerging, there’s no mention of optical image stabilization (OIS) being included in the CMF Phone 1.
Nothing has also been releasing glimpses of the CMF Phone 1’s assembly process. The latest reveal showcases the in-display fingerprint sensor, speaker, and lower frame. The company promises a complete look at the assembled phone in the coming days.
Beyond the phone, Nothing has confirmed some features of the upcoming CMF Buds Pro 2 true wireless earbuds (TWS). These earbuds will offer 50dB of hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC), a 5dB improvement over the original Buds Pro. Additionally, actress Rashmika Mandanna will be the face of the CMF Buds Pro 2 advertising campaign in India.
The earbuds will be available in black/grey and blue color options and will reportedly integrate with ChatGPT technology when used with Nothing or CMF phones. Specific details regarding this ChatGPT integration remain to be seen.
Finally, Nothing has teased the CMF Watch Pro 2. This smartwatch will sport a round dial, a departure from the square design of its predecessor, and will offer a selection of over 100 watch faces. The CMF Watch Pro 2 is expected to feature an aluminum case and a digital crown.
The entire CMF product line, including the Phone 1, Buds Pro 2 earbuds, and Watch Pro 2 smartwatch, is scheduled for an official launch next Monday, July 8th.
