Smartphone maker iQOO has officially confirmed the launch of its Z9 Lite model in India. The announcement comes after mid-July launch rumors swirled around the device.
While details are scarce, the teaser image shared by iQOO offers a glimpse of the Z9 Lite’s design. The phone boasts a flat frame design with a dual-camera rear panel. The SIM card slot is visible on the left frame, while the top likely houses a speaker grille.
iQOO has remained tight-lipped about the Z9 Lite’s specifications and features. However, rumors suggest it could be a rebranded version of the vivo T3 Lite, which recently launched in India. Interestingly, the vivo T3 Lite itself is not entirely new, but rather a rebadged version of the vivo Y28s.
If these rumors hold true, the iQOO Z9 Lite could pack a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, a 6.56-inch 90Hz HD+ LCD display, and up to 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. A 5,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a triple-camera system (8MP selfie, 50MP main, and 2MP depth sensor) could also be part of the package.
With the launch date set for July 15th, we can expect iQOO to reveal the official specifications and features of the Z9 Lite in the coming days. Stay tuned for further updates!
