Motorola Razr 40 Ultra official-looking press renders leak showing all three colors

Yesterday, we were treated to a glimpse of the much-anticipated Motorola Razr 40 foldable phone, and now it’s time to feast our eyes on its more high-end counterpart, the Razr 40 Ultra. Thanks to renowned leakster Evan Blass, aka @evleaks, we now have official-looking renders of the device in all three available colors.

These renders not only confirm the phone’s name but also showcase its standout feature—the outer screen. It’s worth noting that this is the largest outer screen we’ve seen on a foldable device to date. Occupying almost the entire available space and even wrapping around the cameras and flash, it’s undeniably impressive and sets it apart from its competitors.

Rumors surrounding the Razr 40 Ultra suggest it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The main screen is expected to boast a resolution of 1080×2640 pixels and a refresh rate of either 120 Hz or 144 Hz, while the outer screen will offer a resolution of 1056×1066 pixels. The device is likely to come with storage options of up to 512GB and RAM configurations of up to 12GB. A 3,640 mAh battery with support for 33W charging is also rumored.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Razr 40 Ultra is said to feature a 12 MP main camera equipped with Sony’s IMX563 sensor, accompanied by a 13 MP ultrawide camera utilizing SK Hynix’s Hi1336 sensor. For capturing selfies, users can expect a 32 MP front-facing camera with the OmniVision OV32B40 sensor.

Upon its launch, the Razr 40 Ultra is expected to run on Android 13, and the release date is likely to be in the coming weeks.
